This quick and creamy apple dip is always a crowd pleaser! It's just as tasty with pears, bananas or vanilla wafers! www.littledairyontheprairie.com

An extra  easy and decadent fruit dip. Lots of different kinds of candy bars gives every bite a fun taste! It’s perfect with apples, bananas, pears or even cinnamon sugar pita chips or pretzels!

I’m guessing you might have a few left over candy bars hiding somewhere today! Somehow my kids Halloween candy disappears little by little. Who knows where it goes!

Creamy apple dip

Put softened cream cheese, brown and white sugar in a mixing bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla and mix to combine.

Left over Halloween candy apple dip!

Stir in chopped candy bars. Use lots of different kinds. Or stick to one theme such as peanut butter candy bars, or caramel type of candy bars. I like adding lots of them! It’s a little something for everyone!

A creamy fruit dip that is a must for holiday parties!

This dip with apples reminds me of candy apples. Except it is much simpler to make. And easier for kids to eat too!

Duck Dynasty Costumes

We can’t talk about Halloween, the day after Halloween without me sharing a few pictures! I’m not very creative when it comes to Halloween costumes. I was glad when my boys all decided to be Duck Dynasty characters for Halloween. We already had all of this “get up” at our house except the beards. Thanks to Walmart we were able to snatch these official Duck Dynasty beards up! Don’t the look good?! Si even looks wigged out!

So here’s a funny thing that my Si did yesterday. He’s in 7th grade. When you are in the 7th grade you begin going to Jr. High dances instead of having room moms come into the class room and providing a party. My Si went to the dance and had a great time. He danced with lots of girls. He was telling his dad all about the dancing experience. Apparently when my Si danced with a girl who was very quiet, he sang the song to fill the silence! I bet the girls just loved that! My kids provide countless giggles for me. The giggles are welcome, the flashbacks to Jr. High, not welcome!

Homemade Duck Dynasty Costumes!

My baby wanted to be Willy! He’s the cutest little blond Willy that I ever saw! Love this kid!

I dare you to borrow some of your kids Halloween candy and make this dip! I bet they won’t even notice.

It is finally Friday again, my favorite post day of the week. The candy bar dip looks so good. Great way to use up the left over Halloween candy.

Love the Ducky Dynasty family. The only thing missing was Miss Kay and Phil.
