Roast Beef Sliders are such a fun version of hot beef sandwiches! They are so easy to make and you’ll need simple ingredients like deli ham and dinner rolls! You’ll love these for parties or for busy weeknight dinners!

This post is sponsored by Rhodes Bake N’ Serve. As always all opinions are my own!

It’s easy to make a whole pan or just a few sliders!

When we’re in town we are an hour away from home. For some reason, my kids think that means I’m going to let them hit the drive-through or take them out to eat before heading home. They’re always begging to hit Arby’s really quick. Most of the time I already have something in the slow cooker waiting for us when we get home.

Sliders are a quick and easy weeknight meal

I try not to make sandwiches at home very often because the kids eat so many of them in their lunches at school. Slider recipes are so easy though that I’m constantly making them!

Sandwiches can get a bit ho-hum but trust me there is nothing boring about this Roast Beef Sliders recipe! It’s one of those recipes you find yourself making time and time again and never getting tired of. Even my pickiest eaters beg me to make extra’s so there are leftovers to pack in lunches!

  • Barbecue Sauce – store-bought is great, or my homemade BBQ Sauce recipe is pretty tasty
  • Cheese – Cheddar, Provolone, Swiss, Mozzarella… anything goes
  • Pineapple Rings – these really add the best-unexpected pop of Hawaiian flavor! You can skip them if you want though!
  • Butter, Onion Powder, Garlic Salt, Worcestershire Sauce – for brushing on the tops
  • Parsley and Sesame Seeds – optional

Step by step of how to make sliders

How to make Roast Beef Sliders

  • Let Rhodes rolls rise according to package directions.
  • Bake according to package directions.
  • Let cool.
  • Cut tops off of the rolls. Don’t worry about breaking the rolls apart. It’s easier to cut them in half if you leave them all stuck together in one piece.
  • Leave the bottoms of rolls on the baking sheet or in the baking pan.
  • Spread a prepared barbecue sauce over bottoms of rolls.
  • Add a thick layer of deli-sliced roast beef to bottoms of rolls.
  • Layer a half slice of pineapple over roast beef.
  • Set one slice of cheese over the toppings on each roll.
  • Flip the tops of the rolls over onto the sliders.
  • Mix melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley flakes, sesame seeds, and Worcestershire sauce together.  Generously brush tops of rolls with butter mixture.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until cheese is melted and tops are golden brown!

Ingredients

For Making The Sliders

  • 12 rolls
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 pound deli roast beef
  • 6 whole pineapple rings cut in half
  • 12 slices cheddar cheese

Butter for the Tops

  • 1/4 cup butter melted
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1/2 tsp parsley flakes optional
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • Let rolls rise according to package directions.
  • Bake according to package directions.
  • Let cool just until you can handle the rolls.
  • Add a thick layer of deli sliced roast beef to bottoms of rolls.
  • Layer a half slice of pineapple over roast beef. You could use pineapple tidbits if you wanted.
  • Set one slice of cheese over the toppings on each roll.
  • Flip the tops of the rolls over onto the sliders.
  • Mix butter, garlic powder, onion powder, Worcestershire sauce, and sesame seeds together. Generously brush tops of rolls with butter mixture.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until sliders are golden brown and cheese is melted.

Notes

  1. It’s easy to substitute differnet kinds of cheese for this recipe. Cheddar, mozzarella, provolone, pepper jack, Colby jack, and Swiss are all great options!
  2. Pineapple gives the sandwiches a fun Hawaiian flare. If you’re not into that, or if your kids aren’t in to it, you can obviously leave it off!
  3. If the tops of the rolls are getting too brown cover them with foil and continue baking until the cheese is melted.
