Ingredients

Ingredients to make Pulled Pork Chili

  • 2 16 ounce cans Chili Beans
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans tomatoes
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 2 cups shredded pulled pork I bought mine already made. You can find it near the lunchmeat in the grocery store
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 whole jalapeno seed and membranes removed and diced
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar

Chili Topping Ideas (Optional)

  • shredded cheese
  • diced tomatoes
  • sliced green onions
  • corn or tortilla chips
  • sour cream
  • cilantro

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a slow cooker. Stir.
  • Cook on high for 3-4 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.
  • Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, corn chips, and cilantro if desired.

Notes

You can use black beans, kidney beans, pinto beans, or red beans instead of chili beans if needed. Drain these beans before adding to the slow cooker.
Chili may be cooked in a pressure cooker. Cook on high pressure for 30 minutes, naturally release.
