Pizza Pinwheels are the perfect after school snack, lunchbox treat or appetizer! Little Dairy on the Prairie
My boys take a lunch to school every day. Sometimes I sit in my kitchen and try to dream up something new to put in there. Since I get bored of packing the same things every week, I bet they are getting bored of eating the same things every week. This was my fun new version of a lunchbox pizza! And it was a hit!
 Pepperoni Pizza Pinwheels!
The other reason I created these fun little Pizza Pinwheels is because finger food is my favorite! Food is more fun and so cute when it’s little.
 Cheesy Pepperoni Pizza Rollups!
This is the crazy time of the year when I hermitize on my sofa and watch too much football, Duck Dynasty and Pioneer Woman! Let’s face it, half the fun of watching football is the yummy food. Pizza Pinwheels fit right in on my plate of other scrumptious appetizers!

Being I have never bought or have used pesto is there a substitute I can use?
I don’t want to buy pesto when the recipe only calls for 1 T.

You could leave it out and it would still taste fantastic. You could also add a little oregano, basil, and pasley. Good luck!
