I crave fresh green salads. I like mine loaded with every available veggie. You know, veggies are available all year long now. The only problem is they taste like mush, or something. Nothing tastes like tomatoes, cucumbers and carrots from the garden. Finally, after the long winter, veggies are finally starting to taste okay again. That makes me want nothing more than a big salad. With this Perfect Honey Mustard Vinaigrette, of course!
I have been making a creamy honey mustard dressing for years. I will get around to bringing that recipe to you too! Whenever I go out to eat and order salad, I always get it with Honey Mustard Dressing. Last time it was a Perfect Honey Mustard Vinaigrette. I fell in love!!
- ⅓ c. honey
- ¼ c. vegetable oil
- ¼ c. lemon juice
- 1 T yellow mustard
- 2 T course ground mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl. Whisk until they are well blended.
- That's it! It's ready to serve.
- Store leftovers in refrigerator. I have stored it for up to two weeks. It may last longer than that. We have never had it around longer to try it!
