Buttery Garlic & Bacon Peas

  • 1 pound frozen green peas
  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp. lemon pepper
  • ¼ tsp. season salt
  • 1 c. bacon, fried and crumbled
  • ½ c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  1. Put green peas in a skillet and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes or until peas are tender.
  2. Drain and return peas to skillet.
  3. Add bacon, butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Continue to cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese and toss to coat.
  5. Serve warm.
