I have to start this post out by saying that I love doughnuts. And everyone else should too! I have been doing some spring cleaning lately. My mudroom closet was filled with so many treasures that I didn’t even have to buy things to put in the boys Easter baskets last week. I also found a Chia Pet that was given to Carson a long time ago. It had enough seeds left to grow it two more times. I never do things like this because it requires lots of hard work on my part. I have to help the kids get it ready. And then the really hard part…I have to let it sit on the counter for a week or so. I’m not used to clutter on my countertops and a Chia Pet doesn’t qualify as quality décor. But I let it grow and I’m glad I did because it was funny.
We waited for a few days for the Shrek to start sprouting. And when he finally did he decided to grow a bald spot. Since my boys are very familiar with this condition they noticed it right away. Then they said that Shrek has a doughnut on his head. That is what they have named male baldness.
And this is why they know all about it!! Ha Ha!! It’s hard to be the big man in charge of the little dairy. It will drive a guy to baldness. The boys kept saying that Shrek has a doughnut just like Dad! They always look at Justin’s bald spot and try to decide if it is growing new hair. Today they decided that they should draw a smiley face on his bald spot with a marker. Too bad never let them do it. But I have a feeling that his next nap could bring about a very happy doughnut!! It will match the happy donkey on his shirt.
