Cranberry Honey Butter
Cranberry Honey Butter is made from whipped butter sweetened with honey and cranberries and is packed with fall flavors. It’s perfect served on all kinds of bread! And is an absolutely gorgeous addition to Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts!
Now that Halloween is over can I admit that it my least favorite holiday. I’m not creative when it comes to thinking of costumes. I don’t like to spend money buying store bought costumes, I don’t love wasting time sewing costumes that never seem to turn out the way they look in my head. Then when I finally conjure something up for my poor children to wear I’m supposed to take them around and encourage them to ask for candy that we don’t need. What? Let’s just say I’m not a fan!
Thanksgiving on the other hand, I love this holiday. Thanksgiving is a time to celebrate with family and friends. It’s an excuse to eat way too much delicious food. And it gives me a chance to reiterate the importance of being grateful. Family, gratitude, and food…I can get behind this so much easier than getting behind costumes and give me more candy.
This year my friends Meghan from Cake ‘n Knife and Susannah from Feast + West are hosting Blogsgiving Dinner. This is like a virtual potluck with twenty bloggers bringing Thanksgiving recipes to share. I decided to bring my Cranberry Honey Butter to the party. It’s one of those dishes that anyone can make, regardless of skill level in the kitchen and people always rant and rave about it. Whether you are making rolls for Thanksgiving, or just bringing the butter and jam, you need to bring Cranberry Honey Butter along! I mean let’s face it, rolls just aren’t the same without being slathered in cranberry honey butter!
Cranberry Honey Butter – Instructions
Whip butter until it’s light and fluffy, about two minutes.
Add honey.
Add canned cranberry sauce, or homemade cranberry sauce if you have it.
Be as creative as you want and add other flavor enhancers if you want. Orange zest and orange extract, vanilla extract, and cinnamon are all delicious.
Whip everything together for about 2-3 minutes. It will look a separated at first. Keep going and it will come together.
Cranberry Honey Butter – how to use it
Cranberry Honey Butter will store in the refrigerator for several weeks.
Take it out of the fridge and allow it to come to room temperature before serving.
My family uses it in place of butter and jam.
One of my favorite things about using it for Thanksgiving, or other meals for that matter, is I don’t have to have butter and jam since it’s all together. It’s one less thing to fit on an already crowded table.
Cranberry Honey Butter is one of those foods that is so easy to make and yet it feels extra special. We all need a few of those recipes during the holidays!

I agree! It’s the little things that make such a difference!
Can you use ALL of the add-ons for the recipe, or would that make the taste too busy? Thanks for your advice!
Hi Anna! I don’t think I’d try all the add-ins at the same time. I’m thinking vanilla and orange would be amazing together though! Let me know what you come up with!
