I can’t let the Forth of July pass by without sharing how much I love America. I am so blessed to live in a Nation where we enjoy freedoms. There is no thank you big enough to express gratitude to those who sacrifice for my freedom. I often think of those serving in the Armed Forces. And then my thoughts are immediately turned to their families who are at home. How challenging it would be to have a mother or father, husband or wife, son or daughter at war. My heart goes out to all of those who retire tonight with an empty bed in the house. You are in the thoughts and prayers of my family!! Thank you!!
I love “amber waves of grain”. Even though these waves of grain are not amber yet. They soon will be. I am fortunate to live in a place where I can see the grain waving and growing.
I’m so blessed to live next to “purple mountains majesties”. A place where we can spend time together as a family and enjoy all that Heavenly Father has created for us!
It is beautiful “above the fruited plains”. I know that potatoes and carrots are not fruit. This is my garden anyway. And I am so glad that I live in a place where I can grow my own food.
“From Sea to Shining Sea” there are many things to be thankful for.
We took the opportunity to visit Hawaii last spring and loved every minute of it. The bottom of the ocean floor is exquisite. We love visiting different areas in America. Every part has something unique to offer. I feel very blessed to be a part of it. Happy Birthday America!!
