Whipped Cinnamon Butter

Created by Amy Engberson 21 Comments

Whipped Cinnamon Butter is a simple little recipes that make hot rolls seem extra special! Sometimes I wonder why I don’t make it more often because it’s so easy to make and a nice change of pace from honey and jam!

This post is sponsored by Rhodes Frozen Bread. As always all opinions are my own. I appreciate sponsors that support this blog! #Rhodes #FrozenDough

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- Warm and serve Rhodes Rolls

Whipped Cinnamon Butter is a copy cat recipe of that yummy butter you just can’t leave alone when you visit the Texas Roadhouse!

My kids are on a two week break from school because it’s Spud Harvest! Potatoes are a big deal here in Idaho and it takes a lot of people to get them all harvested in the small window farmers have to harvest them. The potatoes need to be fully ripe and ready before harvesting and they need to be out of the ground and in potato cellars before it gets too cold. Like I said, harvesting potatoes is labor intensive so the farmers hire high school kids and even some junior high kids to help in the harvest. So…we are out of school this week and next!

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- serve on rollsMy two oldest wanted to work in the harvest but we have so many projects on our own farm Justin told them they had to stay here and work. We are busy building a pen for our cows to stand in before they go to the barn to be milked. It’s called a catch pen and this project involves pouring lots of concrete. When we pour concrete I get to be the person who levels all the posts and I’m the concrete finisher which means I’ve been spending lots of time helping on the farm.

When I am home I feel this pressure to get everything at my own house ready for the winter. I’m harvesting my garden, preserving the produce that comes from the garden, tidying up the lawn, washing the siding on the house, vacuuming the cars, and sweeping the garage. I just have to get eveything in order before the winter comes.

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- warm and serve rolls

I guess what I’m saying is my family  has been beyond busy and I need a few shortcuts to get me through this week! Rhodes rolls are one of my favorite shortcuts ever! I mean who doesn’t love a hot roll with their meal?

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- Rhodes Warm and Serve RollsJust when I thought it couldn’t get easier than making Rhodes thaw, rise, and bake rolls (which I love) ❤️ Rhodes made my life even easier! Did you know Rhodes now makes Rhodes Ready to Bake, Warm and Serve Rolls? That’s right! All you need to do is take them out of the freezer (yes they are found in the freezer section at the grocery store) and bake them for a few minutes until your house smells divine and they are golden brown!

There are lots of varities of Rhodes Warm and Serve Rolls too; Artisan French Rolls, Soft Yeast Rolls, Whole Wheat Rolls, Sour Dough Rolls, and Mini Baguettes! Is anyone else thinking of all the yummy sandwiches you could make on those Mini Baguettes? Just switching the bread to something fun makes my boys lunches more exciting!

Obviously Rhodes Ready to Bake rolls are completely awesome slathered with butter and jam, but sometimes I like to switch it up and make Whipped Cinnamon Butter!

This stuff is so easy you can get it made in the 10-12 minutes the rolls are baking!

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- Texas Rhodehouse butter copy catAdd a little whipped butter and sweetened condensed milk to a small bowl. If you don’t have whipped butter you can use regular butter. Just be sure to use real butter, no substitutes here…or ever!

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- add cinnamon!

Add a tiny bit of corn syrup and cinnamon to the bowl.

Beat until all ingredient are combined!

Whipped Cinnamon Butter- Use it on rolls, bread, sandwiches, etc.

I love how creamy, light, and fluffy Whipped Cinnamon Butter is! Adding cinnamon to it give this butter a nice cozy taste too!

Whipped Cinnamon Butter is another one of those reasons you just can’t quit eating rolls! I’m sure you’ve been there before. You know that moment when you promise yourself this will be the last roll, then before you know it you have yet another one in your hand! I think both the Rhodes rolls and the Whipped Cinnamon Butter are to blame!

And remember you don’t have to wait until you have plenty of time to enjoy rolls with your meal! With Rhodes Warm N Serve Rolls you can have warm rolls and Whipped Cinnamon Butter with your hurry up, my life is crazy busy, weeknight meals!

I’ve never been to Texas Roadhouse, but I’m pretty sure I’d love this spread you’ve recreated! It *does* sound like a nice change of pace from plain old butter! Love it!

I will use stick butter instead of soft butter. Is it still one cup (2 sticks)?

I recently tasted whipped cinnamon butter for the first time and it was fabulous, so I looked on google for a recipe and found your website. I am going to try out your recipe and maybe a few others. Hopefully I get it right. Lol

    Hey Amy,
If you love that Cinnamon Butter, you should add some honey to it! I make my own butter and then take it to the edge with the honey and then OVER the edge with the cinnamon! It’s then whipped and man is that some good stuff!

I have tried other cinnamon butter recipes but I keep coming back to this one.
I had done a taste test with my family (making and using 4 different recipes) and guess what; your recipe was choose each and every time so it’s # 1 in my book / household.
Thank You and have a great day.

Forgot to ask; do you use salted or unsalted butter? (I have been using the unsalted, as that is what I normally buy and it’s always in the fridge)
