Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Nachos – This crazy creamy chicken nacho sauce cooks in the slow cooker. Then when you are ready for nachos all you have to do is spoon it over chips and you are done! It’s like the best of both worlds, a sheet pan dinner and a slow cooker dinner in one!
The end of the holiday season is a little bitter-sweet for me. It’s always such a fun time of the year and I almost dread the ending of the season. Maybe it’s because I know it means back to school, piano lessons, basketball practice, homework, packing lunches and all those crummy jobs. It’s more fun, and easier, to just keep the kids home.
Honestly though…towards the end of the holiday season I look at my poor Christmas tree and want in down. I get ready to put the furniture back to its normal resting place, and I get really excited to dust without moving all the Christmas decorations. After awhile I just can’t help myself and need to clean up all the clutter and get back to a routine!
Part of getting back into a routine for me is having dinner ready when the kids get home from school. Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Nachos is exactly the kind of meal that helps me!
