It didn’t take long for him to loose his hat! I love his white hair anyway!
The sheep must have missed his friends and decided to run back with them. You know how sheep are? They always follow each other and love to be together. I’m guessing that’s why they put other sheep in the arena anyway.
I have to admit, I was a little nervous about how riding in the middle of the sheep was going to go for him. I thought he might get nervous and fall off. He said he just kept riding until the buzzer went off then he jumped off the sheep!
He ended up scoring an 80 point ride and won! He got this cute little buckle and I got to quit being nervous for him. Well, I was over being nervous about the “you might not always win” life lesson. Then I got nervous about the “being a humble winner” life lesson! I guess I worry too much.
By the way, he wanted to wear a cowboy shirt and he has plenty of them in his closet. I set his clothes out for him because he was out working before it was time to go and I knew he would be in a hurry. I set this nice “tough enough to wear pink” shirt out. He wasn’t too excited about wearing a pink shirt because he thought it wasn’t cowboy enough. I convinced him to wear it by telling him his aunt would have chosen the same shirt. A few minutes later he came upstairs tough enough for pink! Love this boy!
